隨著街道上的聖誕裝飾日漸豐富，聖誕假期的腳步也近了。孩子們自然是對即將到來的長假期充滿期待，但作為家長，我們在規劃節日活動的同時，也不免會考慮到學業延續性的問題。我們深知，假期結束後往往緊接著下學期的測驗與考試季節。如果在假期中讓孩子的思維完全「休假」，重返校園時便可能需要一段頗長的適應期才能找回學習狀態。為了協助各位家長與學生做好準備，在享受節日的同時也能保持適度的學術敏感度，我將由今天起，一連六日在網誌發佈小一至小六的數學模擬溫習卷，供大家免費下載列印。

As Christmas decorations begin to adorn the streets, the holiday season is fast approaching. While children are naturally excited about the upcoming long break, parents often find themselves balancing festive planning with concerns about academic continuity. We are well aware that the test and examination season for the next term typically follows immediately after the holidays. If children allow their minds to go on a complete "vacation" during the break, they may require a significant adjustment period to regain their study momentum upon returning to school. To assist parents and students in preparing ahead, ensuring that academic sensitivity is maintained alongside the festivities, I will be releasing Math mock review worksheets for Primary 1 through Primary 6 on this blog for the next six consecutive days, available for free download and printing.


這個特別企劃將採用倒數形式進行，今天我們由小學階段最具挑戰性、也最為關鍵的六年級數學揭開序幕。對於六年級學生而言，這個假期並非單純的休息，因為呈分試與中學學位分配的壓力近在咫尺。這份溫習卷是根據現行的考試重點與常見題型精心編寫，旨在協助學生鞏固核心概念。試卷的首兩個部分，專注於基礎運算及「數的轉換」。試題中特別設計了針對分數、小數及百分數互換的練習，例如要求學生將 0.625 化為分數，或將 125% 轉換為分數形式。這些基礎題型在考試中佔分不少，且是後續進行複雜運算的基石，學生必須透過練習達到熟能生巧，確保萬無一失。

This special project will follow a countdown format, starting today with the most challenging and critical level of all—Primary 6 Mathematics. For Primary 6 students, this holiday is not merely about relaxation, as the pressure of internal assessments for secondary school allocation is imminent. This review worksheet is meticulously crafted based on current exam priorities and common question formats, aiming to help students consolidate core concepts. The first two sections of the worksheet focus on basic operations and "Number Conversion." Specific exercises are designed for the interchange between fractions, decimals, and percentages, such as requiring students to convert 0.625 to a fraction or 125% to a fraction form. These fundamental questions account for a significant portion of marks in exams and serve as the cornerstone for more complex calculations; therefore, students must practice until they achieve proficiency to ensure accuracy.


除了鞏固基礎，這份試卷更針對了學生普遍感到棘手的應用範疇，特別是「比較與排序」及「平均數」的運算，藉此考驗學生對數據的分析能力。而整份試卷的重點挑戰，則落於第七部分的「立體與水位變化」。這類題目模擬了將物體（如石塊或金屬球）放入水中後的情境，要求學生計算水位上升的高度，或利用排水原理推算物體的體積。例如試卷中的第 30 題，題目設定為放入三個金屬球後水位上升至 8.4 厘米，學生必須掌握「上升的水位體積等於放入物體的體積」這一物理與數學結合的概念。若能利用假期時間攻克這些高階難題，定能增強日後應試的信心。

Beyond reinforcing basics, this worksheet specifically targets application areas where students often struggle, particularly in "Comparison and Ordering" as well as "Averages," testing students' ability to analyze data. However, the primary challenge of this worksheet lies in Part 7—"Volume and Water Level Changes." These questions simulate scenarios where objects (like stones or metal balls) are submerged in water, requiring students to calculate the rise in water level or deduce the volume of the objects using the displacement principle. For example, Question 30 presents a scenario where adding three metal balls causes the water level to rise to 8.4 cm. Students must master the concept that "the volume of the displaced water equals the volume of the submerged objects." Conquering these advanced problems during the holidays will undoubtedly boost their confidence for future exams.
