It doesn’t matter if you go slow, as long as you don't stop.
To be honest, I’ve never considered myself a smart person. I’ve always been slower at learning new things compared to others. Even today, I might not be the most outstanding one in the room, but precisely because of this "slowness," I’ve gained a unique perspective on learning that I’d like to share with you all.
What do you think is the most important factor in mastering a skill? Is it intelligence, talent, time management, or hard work? I don’t deny that these are important, but I believe none of them is the most critical. The real key is actually—"the willingness to persist, coupled with taking action."
Stick to learning a little bit every day. Even if it’s just memorizing one word or reading a single page, as long as you make an inch of progress daily, you will see huge changes over time. Of course, we aren't machines, and we all get tired. Rest is absolutely okay—and important. But remember: "Resting is meant to prepare you for a longer journey," not an excuse to stay stagnant. Once you’ve rested and reset your mindset, keep going. That is what matters.
When I was a kid, I used to chant, "Step by step, bit by bit, progress is certain." Back then, I only knew how to recite it without understanding the depth of those words or how to put them into practice. It wasn't until I grew up and experienced life that I truly understood the meaning of "persistence."
I don’t know what the future holds, but I have made a promise to myself: no matter how my environment changes, I will never give up the habit of "daily learning." I hope to do a little more each day, improve a little more, and let these small wins add up to something great.
